I learned about why people with autism do the things they do and how they react to things. I leaned that sometimes people with autism don't understand things the way we do and just because they might not understand doesn't mean that they're feelings won't get crushed as easily.
i learned that even though you have autism you are just like other kids in alot of ways like he likes reading and going to conventions and he talks to people online. but the most important thing is that there are TONS of people that are autistic or have special needs but just like us they are all differnt like what there strengths and weeknesses are!and to not tell everyone that they are autistic because they can look and act the same!they can still talk to them!there is no reason to treat them different!
yes because it like you are kind of in their head when you red this book. It like when jason goes in elevator he does ot like being in small spaces in a long amount of time. Just because they have aumitsm dont mean that you cant be their friend
I learned that a simple look at a person like that can hurt their feelings or like in the book the librarian places her arms one Jason's shoulders to him it feels like the weight of the world but also at the same time they are just like us in many many ways. He can still hold a conversation with a person and he can type on the computer too. They still know what things are and what they mean like the word that pops into Jason's head every morning while eatting breakfast on brushing his teeth. I learned that there is nothing wrong with them they just see the world differently from the way that we see it and that thats okay!
i learned that autistic kids are just like normal kids because they like to do normal things like read and chat online with other kids. They just dont understand as easily as others.
